INTRODUCTION:
This is one of the swags owned by a world
famous Crocodile Farmer & TV presenter from Broome.
The humble swag has been a part of
Australian life and folklore for more than a century. Invented out of necessity
by early explorers, it has been a home away from home for generations of outback
travellers. It is the simplest and most carefree way to set up camp, packing up
to move on takes a couple of minutes.
LIFE-TIME GUARANTEE:
In case of failure - free repair service to swag anytime (mattress excluded). We
sew our name, address and telephone contact into our swags, because we have
confidence in the product… Longest and oldest swag maker in the country.
Unfortunately
a lot of so-called swags are manufactured poorly and cheaply in places like
Fiji, India and China where daily wages are not much over two
or three dollars. They are imported for around forty dollars, but
are sold in stores for nearly eight to ten times as much, without a
life-time guarantee of free repair services when required. We live in a great country, so why buy an Australian swag
that's made overseas?
Ours is not a swag requiring
spare parts, ropes, pegs, rods or shovel handles to prop it up. We no longer
make box swags and tent swags, because our flat bedroll swag has shown to be by
far the more popular type outselling these others by many times. Most people
don’t like sleeping in a tight coffin-like structure. When
canvas is suspended above you body, you feel cold in winter, requiring a bulky
sleeping bag or doona. On warm nights a tent-like swag becomes stuffy even with
windows open, like a cubby house.
